INTRODUCTION

The IRBIS-Pro solution handles a wide range of sources, social networks, and mobile applications. The main functional blocks include:

  • Collection module: interacts with social networks and other sources to collect relevant traffic.

  • Processing Module: Converts collected raw data into a unified structure.

  • Tools for monitoring and analysis: the environment for displaying data to the user in a certain form.

  • Administration and management modules: system administration and security.

The architecture of the Profiler module is shown in Figure 1.

User Interface

The user interface allows system operators to monitor and manage multiple investigations, target actions, search queries, analyze object events, all through an easy-to-use and intuitive user interface.

Investigation

Manage investigation folders

The investigation folder management interface allows operators to create, modify, and archive different types of investigations, as shown in Figure 3: Investigations.

Create a new investigation

Clicking on the plus sign located in the main investigations panel will open the Create Investigation dialog box, allowing the user to enter the name of the investigation, as shown in Figure 4: Creating a new investigation

By clicking on the "OK" button, the system will create a folder and it will automatically appear in the active investigation section, as shown in Figure 5: Create investigation.

Case panel

Clicking on a specific investigation folder will open a case panel, as shown in Figure 7: Case Panel.

Types of cases in the investigation

There are 1 kinds of cases that the user can open in the investigation folder:

  • Profiler - Create profiling data from multiple social networks and web applications.

Case views are displayed in the investigation tree as in Figure 8: Types of cases, and an icon of the case view and the number of investigations created in it are displayed on each created folder, as in Figure 9: Case folders.

Create Profiler case

To open a new Profiler case, the user must select this type of case in the investigation tree as in Figure 10: Case panel when creating a Profiler case.

After clicking on the selected type of case, the "Create Case" window will be displayed on the case panel, and the names of already existing cases of this type (if any in this investigation) will be displayed in the investigation tree.

When you click on the "Create Case" button, a window is displayed in which you need to enter the name of the case.

The created case will be displayed on the case panel.
