Part II – Profiler Module

Profile module

The profiling module creates a profile based on the input data.

When you click on the case folder, the target panel will open, as on Figure 12: Target Panel

On the target panel there is a button "Create a target". Clicking on it will open a window for creating a target by criteria.

Criterion search by phone number.

The module detects the country automatically and, when you start the search, it will begin to build a personal profile on the target by mobile phone number.

Enter phone numbers in the list manually or by importing a file.

The module can support up to 10 phone numbers specified by the list in the form of a text document or entered the form manually.

File format - a list of phone numbers in the international format e164, each number in a new line.

By clicking the "Import" button, the module will start launching the numbers and creating a personal profile for each of them. Within a few minutes the profiles will be ready

Search criteria by Name.

It is necessary to enter the name of the target by which the system should make a profile

Search criteria by social network ID.

It is necessary to enter the ID number of the profile of the social network, according to which the system should compile a profile.

The function allows you to import. CSV file for later creation of profiles.

When you click on the import icon, the system will bring up a context menu to select the necessary file from the computer.

You need to select the necessary file. Phone numbers should start with "+" and the country code, there should be no spaces or additional characters in the phone number, each new number should start with a new line, an example in the following image.

After selecting the desired file, the standard profile search will begin.

Personal Profile (Target)

As mentioned above, the module can build a complete and extensive profile for a specific purpose using collected and updated information from social media, search engines and mobile applications. The user can click on the target tile to open the personal profile, as shown in the following figures: Figure 14: Target Panel and Figure 15: Target Profile

The Personal Profile page contains several sections, as shown in the following table:

Displays the target location based on social media tags.

Provides face analysis, face recognition, and face matching capabilities.

Basic and contact information

Describes a person's background, experience, education, and other personal information.

Preferences

Likes and interest of the Target, family members, favorite artists, games, places, etc.

Analysis of posts

Analysis post of the target.

Search Results

Social media accounts that can belong to a person.(optional profile )

Web

Information about Web search results.

Deep Web

Contains target information from Deep Web sources.

Synopsis

Written notes and information.

Sources

Personal profile content fields. The user can choose which of the sections he needs and remove them from the personal profile of the target. When returning this section back to the page, you must go to the profile header and click on the desired section.

Summary of the target

The profile information part is a summary of the profile. It contains the following details: name, image, country, social networks that the system has discovered and counters date (number of friends, mentions, likes and posts).

Personal Information Section

Personal information includes the following information:

  • Name and nicknames

  • Telephone

  • Telecom operator

  • E-mail address

  • Date of last visit online

  • Status in messenger

  • Username in the application

  • Address

Interactive features in the block of personal information:

  • Add name

  • Add email address

  • Add photo

  • Add phone

  • Add password (hydra)

  • Add Telegram ID (hydra)

Hydra

After adding in personal information such criteria as: password / telegram ID / social network ID (Facebook, LinkedIn, VK) / phone number / full name / email, refresh page and open a Deep Web widget in case to check newfound information by added data.

Deep web (Hydra) is all non-indexed web pages (sites that are not reachable by internet search engines).

Friends section

List of friends in social networks (up to 50 from each network) with the ability to download a friend's profile (up to 20 photos, posts, and friends)

The friends list of a profile with a private friends list may contain potential friends extracted from likes and comments on the posts of the target profile. This function is indispensable in the case when the profile's friends list is hidden.

Face Recognition

The facial recognition app provides facial recognition, facial analysis, and facial matching capabilities. The app can detect faces in photos, analyze them, and provide more detailed information such as age, race, gender, smile, etc. In addition, the application allows you to check whether the face in the photo corresponds to other persons who already exist in the system. When you click on the photo, the recognition menu will open automatically.

Face Detection: The app analyzes the detected face in the photo and provides target information such as: age, gender, race, etc.

Save: Save the photo to perform the comparison.

Statistical data on profile activity

The Social Media Profile Activity Statistics tab is displayed pie chart with quantitative data on activity (the sum of likes to profile posts, comments to profile posts and friends) of the profile in each social network with the ability to view detailed statistics on the social network separately (number of likes to profile posts, comments to profile posts, friends)

  • Pie chart with the number of posts (published, liked, and commented) in each social network, depending on whether the social network supports tracking of user likes and comments

  • Time chart showing the presence of posts by date of publication - filter on the time chart to select a time (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year)

  • Filter on the time chart to highlight posts published by profile (Posted), liked (Likes), and commented out (Commented)

Map with geographic locations of the profile

Displays the geographic locations of the profile extracted from geotagged posts and some mobile applications and social networks, indicating the source from which this location was extracted.

Profile information (target)

The main section of information contains:

  • General profile information depending on the social network

  • Contact details about the profile depending on the social network

  • Profile preferences in various social networks

  • Profile posts in social networks with viewing capabilities:

  • Text and graphic content of the post (picture) when clicking on the selected post

  • Likes and comments

  • Counter of the total number of reactions (likes)

  • Links to the original source in the social network

  • Post publication dates

  • Links to the posted video

  • Profiles found by names or photos

  • Web results from Google search engine

  • Deep Web search results in a side of their database

  • Summary for user notes

General Information and Contact Details

In this section, you can find the following:

  • General profile information depending on the social network

  • Contact details about the profile depending on the social network

The contact information section contains gender, major events, social media accounts, places the purpose lived, relationships, work experience, language, certifications, volunteer work, profile summary, skills, and other personal information

By clicking this button, the user can add additional information manually. A window will open for entering values

Preferences

This section shows family and relationship of the Target, group memberships, subscriptions, videos, favorite movies, favorite musicians, and other preferences.

On Twitter preferences, only the likes of the user that he put on other tweets are displayed. It is possible to open the timeline of these likes and view the posts that this profile liked within the framework of preferences.

Profile Posts

Social media profile with browsing capabilities include:

  • Text and graphic content of the post (picture) when clicking on the selected post

  • 10 likes and 10 comments

  • Counter of total number of reactions (likes)

  • Links to the original source in the social network

  • Post publication dates

  • Links to the posted video

The Posts section is divided into three parts: Published Post The user can search all posts by keyword or filter the results.

By clicking on a specific post, the user can view the post itself, which was liked and commented on it.

In an open post, the user can see how many people reacted to the post and what comments they left. Lists with reactions and comments can be expanded.

Clicking on the "Original Post" button will take you to the publication page.

Optional Profiles (Search results)

The feature provides a selection of its social media accounts that potentially belong to our purpose. The user can add the account to the main profile by clicking on the plus sign.

The module allows the user to analyze the relevance of the account using facial recognition capabilities. When you click on the face recognition icon in the header, the module will perform analysis, marking the corresponding accounts in green and displays the level of accuracy of analytics as a percentage

WEB search

The module collects target information from the Internet based on mail address, first name, last name, phone number and presents the corresponding results in the form of ok links.

Deep Web

The Deep Web provides relevant results from unindexed pages. Results include names, addresses, gender, social media accounts, etc.

In case to get information from DeepWeb it is needed to create target or add in personal information section specific entity data, such as:

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Facebook ID

  • LinkedIn ID

  • Telegram ID

  • VK ID

  • Password

  • Full Name

Results are shown in DeepWeb widget:

It is possible to add found information to target’s profile by click on “Attach” bottom, also possible to delete added information by click on the red cross.

Found data is added to personal info section and can be used to further investigation.

Synopsis

The synopsis section allows the user to write a conclusion about the profile, leave notes and notes that will be displayed in the profile and in the report on this goal.

To save the resume, the user can click on the "Save" button located at the bottom of the text field.

Classification of objects

After clicking on this Analyze button, in the Contact Information window, information will appear around the profile classified into different categories and will provide information about what a specific goal is interested in or what is related to. The following illustration shows an example.

Sources

The system allows you to add sources of social networks manually. To add a source to social networks, the user can click on the plus sign.

After that, a dialog box will open in which the user can insert the social network ID and select the appropriate site and avatar and click "Add" to update the profile. See Figure 33: Adding a Source.

When adding a source, selecting an avatar is required

To update the profile after adding the source, you need to click on the "Update" button. In this case, a window will be displayed to select an avatar for this social network ID. After selecting an avatar, the search will start again.

Note: Selecting an avatar when restarting the profile in the Sources section is mandatory!

For the profile that you added to the sources, you can click Add, and then click OK. This button updates and supplements the information since the last collection at the time of launch.

This button removes the account from the source list.

Analyzing Profile Relationships

The Link Analysis application displays the relationships between the Target in the case. The system will graphically show what type of connection exists: mutual friends, common groups, and similar preferences.

Relationship analysis is present both for analysis within the target profile and within the case between Target.

When you click the analysis icon in the toolbar located in the upper-right corner of your profile page, Link Analysis will display the links found in that profile.

The application notifies you about the number and types of links found. In the following example, the application found 4 Target with mutual friends and 5 common groups, as shown in Figure 34: Links found between targets.

Export a profile

Next to the Link Analysis button, in the upper right corner of the profile page, there is also a button to export this profile and all the information in it.

Clicking Export displays a window with the suggested document formats for the export function. An example is shown in Figure 37: Exporting the Profile - Selecting a File Format.

Export Profiles - Excel

The function allows you to export all profiles in the case to an Excel file. Clicking on the icon will display a window for downloading a detailed report, which can be opened as shown in Figure 38: Excel File – Extracted Profiles.

Delete a profile

This feature allows the user to delete the target completely. Clicking on the red cross in the upper right corner of the target on the main case panel will open a dialog box, as shown in Figure 39: Case panel.

By pressing the YES button, the module will clear the case of the targets.

By pressing the button, NO, the module will stop the process and automatically return to the case.
